I’ve been on maternity leave and haven’t blogged in quite a while. That doesn’t mean I haven’t been taking pictures though! Our newest blessing, Caleb, is just precious. He was born on April 28th and weighed 9 lb, 15 oz. Due to a prolapsed cord, I had to have an emergency c-section. Although I sure never wanted a c-section, I’m so thankful I had one because it saved his life. My sister took this of me a week or so before Caleb was born.

Here are a few of my favorites of the MANY taken of him.

Many people have asked me how Josiah, who turned one a month after Caleb was born, has reacted to him. He ignored him for awhile, but now frequently brings him toys and tries to put his binky back in his mouth when it falls out. 🙂 It’s funny that he’s not ever going to remember being an only child. I’ve also had quite a few people tell me we are crazy for having two kids so close together. We are not crazy, we are blessed! Yes, having two kids 11 months apart has it’s challenges, but I love finally getting to be a mom after wanting children for such a long time.

The brothers meeting for the first time…

Many cheerios (to get Josiah to sit still for a few seconds) went into the making of this picture.

Caleb has really started smiling A LOT the past week. How can I possibly get anything done when he’s looking at me like this?
