I love this sweet girl. Maddy’s mom (Andrea) has been one of my dearest friend’s since seventh grade. (We met in sixth, but really connected as friends in seventh grade.) We were in band together and both played the flute. It is such a blessing to have lifelong friendship. Although we live 6 hours apart and have seven kids between the two of us, we still try to see each other at least once a year.
Andrea has three girls…Maddy is the oldest. When Andrea was pregnant with Maddy, I remember her telling me a story about she and Jay (Maddy’s dad) riding in their car together. They somehow started talking about how hard it would be for them when Maddy started kindergarten…and then when she started middle school…and high school. Then one of them said “Can you even imagine how hard it will be when she graduates from high school and leaves for college???!? They both got teary over the thought of it and she wasn’t even born yet! That day is quickly approaching…Maddy graduates in May and will be heading to Oklahoma State next fall.
She and her mom and one of her sisters drove up from Plano, Texas last weekend for me to take her senior pictures. We had such a fun time. I’ve taken pictures of her for almost 18 years now! She is not only beautiful on the outside, she most certainly is on the inside as well. I am so very proud of her.
Here’s sweet Maddy at age 3!
