I S A A C
This sweet boy has been on my blog before. (I took pictures of his family last Christmas.) He is extra special to me because his mom has been my friend many years. In fact, his mom and I lived out in the bush with a Ugandan family for several days when we spent a summer in East Africa in college. She and I definitely bonded during that time.
Mr. Isaac was born full-term, but gave his parents quite a scare very soon after he was born. He had a heart defect and spent 9 days in the NICU. He’s now 5 1/2 years old and is a great kid. He is an awesome big brother to his little sis and will have a new little brother soon.

This little guy was born 4 weeks pre-mature and among other problems, had a lung defect. He was in the NICU for 5 days and was also in and out of Arkansas Children’s Hospital for a year and a half. During those times at ACH, his stuffed puppy “Dobie” was always by his side. (The word “Dobie” came out when he was trying to say “Doggie” and the name stuck.) 🙂 He is now an active 2 1/2 year old and Dobie is still his best friend.
