Last weekend I photographed the amazing Amazeum inaugural TINKERFEST and it was a blast! They had a really great turnout and kids and adults alike all had fun learning, playing and tinkering. It just made me all the more excited for the Amazeum to open. We drive past the construction site almost every day and my boys will say “Mom, those workers are doing SUCH a good job! I think they’re almost finished!”
Here is a link to a fun highlights video I did of the event.
Nunnally Chevrolet donated a mini-van for the event. It went from a fully functioning van in the morning to being gutted and taken apart by children by the end of the day!
There were all kinds of electronics including computers, keyboards, typewriters and more that they kids got to take apart.
Kids and parents worked together to make “stomp rockets” and then marked with a red flag where their rocket landed.
The bubble area was a HUGE hit with lots of massive bubbles.
